I’m looking for an all rounder developer.
Salary to $120K plus super depending on experience.
Location inner eastern/south eastern suburbs
This small fast growing startup company (with real customers and revenue) develops tiny (Raspberry Pi-like) ARM devices that are used as video streaming and interactive signage type devices, connected via cloud servers.
The right person for this role:
** is comfortable configuring Linux systems - ideally small ARM devices (required)
** would know how to find and configure the correct drivers for the sorts of video/network and controller hardware found in tiny ARM devices, as well as diagnose and resolve problems that come up in these areas
** would be comfortable configuring and compiling a Linux kernel
** is very flexible and happy to work with whatever programming languages they are asked, open to and welcomes the chance to work with new technologies (required)
** is experienced with JavaScript (required)
** is experienced with C and C++ (required)
** nice to have but not required: experience with Ruby On Rails
** nice to have but not required: experience with cloud computing environments
** has experience working in agile development process
** is quality focused and writes tests for their code
** is experienced with continuous delivery
