Infoxchange is a not-for-profit community organization that delivers
technology for social justice. We work to strengthen communities and
organizations, using technology as the primary tool to create positive
social change.
We are an inclusive development team that uses lightweight Agile
processes to contribute to our codebase. We use Git and an automated CI
setup for builds, and we review each other's' pull requests. We believe
in automation over repetition and aim to make our code modular and reusable.
You will need to have:
* **Experience working on scalable and distributed systems
* Web development fundamentals: HTML, CSS, Javascript (both with
vanilla Javascript and frameworks such as ReactJS, React Native, and
VueJS)
* Backend fundamentals: Python (Django), Node.js
* Understanding of and experience with build tools: Docker, Gitlab,
Yarn, Webpack, Gulp, npm
* Understanding of and experience with unit testing, TDD, and BDD
