VPAC has an immediate opportunity for an ongoing Network Administrator /
Engineer to provide all aspects of network design and support, and to
assist with delivering systems services for our supercomputer centre.
Duties will include supporting LAN and WAN connections, DNS, DHCP, high
performance Ethernet and infiniband switches, network troubleshooting,
and assisting with linux OS installation, configuration, and
maintenance; monitoring operations; developing system reports; and
assistance with corporate computing systems.
The successful applicant will have appropriate qualifications and
applicable experience, preferably in a data centre hosting scientific,
technical, or academic users. For success you will need technical
competency, flexibility, and a commitment to providing high quality
outcomes while working in a team environment.
