Hi everyone,
I used to go to this meetup but found it wasn't techy enough for my
tastes - not sure if this has changed - anyway thought some people on
this list might be interested.

Hi All,
As most of you would likely be aware, earlybird registrations are
currently open for linux.conf.au <http://linux.conf.au/> 2012 . As this
is Australia's largest FOSS conference, it would be great if you're all
able to make mention of the registrations at you next local LUG meeting
and help make the 2012 event as amazing as those preceding it. Earlybird
prices will remain available until the end of October, just 2 weeks
away, or until sold out.
Full details are, of course, available at http://linux.conf.au
<http://linux.conf.au/> or we can be contacted at
info(a)lcaunderthestars.org.au <mailto:info@lcaunderthestars.org.au> in
case anyone has any specific questions.

Sorry for the delay in setting up this mailing list, but here it is.
That was a very successful BarCamp ... what ideas do we have for further
promotion and development of Linux in Geelong?
Best wishes to you all,
