Thanks to 6to4 when I get my home Internode connection working with IPv6 I will have every system that matters to me on IPv6. Sixxs are not processing new users or tunnel requests. They are in the early phases of a phase out. Their rationale is that it's time ISPs pulled their finger out and provided IPv6 for their customers, rather than leaving it up to the major tunnel providers to take up the slack. IPv4: 220.245.31.42 IPv4 (hex): dc.f5.1f.2a IPv6: 2002:dcf5:1f2a::/48 Reverse: a.2.f.1.5.f.c.d.2.0.0.2.ip6.arpa Above is the web site's details about my system. Before anyone mentions it I know it's common practice to obscure details of addresses before posting to lists, but I'm not publishing anything that couldn't be discovered by reading headers of mail sent out from my system. Apple osx hdutils

G'day all I have found a couple of projects that assist run osx utilities in linux, however they seem to have died. All I need is to convert a .iso to .dmg, so that when the result is dd 'd to usb it wil boot my MacBook. The result is an efiboot partition is written to the USB as well as the .iso installation file. I can't boot into osx using a usb but it takes forever, and ages to run the conversion. From: "postmaster(a)coker.com.au" <ich(a)trimas.com.au> Above is the From field of a spam that recently arrived in my inbox, the Return-Path and Message-ID refer to trimas.com.au so it didn't hit any SPF checks. Is there a good way of stopping such spam with Postfix and SpamAssassin? An email problem

I currently use an mcmedia email address, recently mcmedia changed hands and it is now part of a Bendigo based group. I ___appear___ to be one of the few using an email address based on there dial up servers and would definitely seem to be running on borrowed time. I am at the moment trying for various reasons to get a new ISP. What options have i got for an email service. I at the moment use a home based mail system but if there is no viable option a web based set up would be OK. Although I have now been running Linux for 24 years and have a network at home I actually know little about such things, it has always just worked and my interest has always been much more into the Kernel and X and general linux PC configuration. Mobile broadband service that works with Linux

I am looking for a Mobile broadband service provider whose service works with Linux, I would really prefer a Prepaid plan. I am currently with Virgin who uses the Optus network. I have tried the service offered be Bendigo Telco, which in fact does use Optus but strangely it I could not get it to work well. I did get it to work but it was dead slow. Telstra has a prepaid that appears to be better than Virgin, anyone tried it on Linux. Lindsay

I'm just setting up some Mon installations as I need monitoring but not the complexity of Nagios. What's the best way of monitoring the internal state of other systems from Mon?
