hi
the file is about 500MB, the source is local disk and the sink is a NFS
mounted drive connected over 1Gb/s ethernet. The copy starts with a
burst at 20MB/s then slows to less than 100kB/s. So the real time
should have been about 30s not 13m30

There are no entries in /var/log/messages on the sink server (Centos 6.6)
and only many of these on the source machine (Fedora 20)

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback re the start up message I think I will have to
wait to meet up and talk more about it.
Does anyone know what program or commands i can use to convert an iso
file to avi or other movie file??
it is a raw CD image (application/x-cd-image) and is 4.5 GB
Thanks,
Anj
