Last year, like many, I made a couple of remarks about the loss of life of some favourite people in the entertainment industry. It is to my shame that I didn't comment on the time on the passing of Dr. D.A. Henderson, the person in charge of the eradication of smallpox. It took him and the team a mere 10 years to end smallpox on the planet. Smallpox was responsible for the deaths of an estimated 500 million people in the 20th century. Now, on the anniversary of his passing I shall make amends. Vale Dr. Henderson. Kogan Mobile

The performance for data is very similar to my phone that has Aldi mobile even though Kogan uses Vodafone which is generally regarded as having much worse performance than the Telstra network that Aldi uses. I have used the Kogan SIM for playing Ingress in urban and suburban areas around Melbourne without any problems. I wouldn't expect good performance from Kogan in regional and rural areas so I can't use it for my main phone (I need to have data access all the time for work even when I'm out of Melbourne). But I haven't tested this.
