I'm trying to collect URIs that link to presentations which I've given, including those at LCA. When I try to connect to lca2013.linux.org.au it appears that not even a TCP connection is established - also tried with SSL/TLS. Any suggestions? Could someone in Australia let me know whether you're experiencing the same result?

It's not at your end. The httpd is either not there at all or not answering. $ host lca2013.linux.org.au lca2013.linux.org.au has address 192.55.98.186 lca2013.linux.org.au mail is handled by 10 team.linux.conf.au. $ telnet lca2013.linux.org.au 80 Trying 192.55.98.186... telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection timed out $ FWIW, I'm in Sint Maarten / Saint Martin in the Caribbean, not that it matters. ;->

Thanks, Rick.

Indeed. It's Princeton, NJ for me, over Comcast, who appear to have occasional issues routing packets to their destinations, which is all that I'm actually paying them to do. I also tried it at my host on Linode, so I suspected the problem was at the other end.

The internode mirror carries all recent LCA's, if it is accessible to outsiders: ftp://mirror.internode.on.net/pub/linux.conf.au/2013

That is just the files associated with the conference, not the website with the program or other details. -- Brian May <brian@linuxpenguins.xyz> https://linuxpenguins.xyz/brian/

It has been like this for months now. Apparently the servers need rebuilding. https://twitter.com/linuxconfau/status/628843018762780672 -- Brian May <brian@linuxpenguins.xyz> https://linuxpenguins.xyz/brian/

That is only the videos, not the content that was on the previously available on the website. e.g. description of the talks or schedule of the talks is not available. -- Brian May <brian@linuxpenguins.xyz> https://linuxpenguins.xyz/brian/
