Interesting to see the variation between the 10 most developed countries, and the ten least developed ones per region, as for our region: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_Human_Development_Index#As... and Europe directly below. According to Wikipedia Oceania has 36 Million people, and ca. 25 Million of them live in Australia and New Zealand. Brent, I think I have a slight idea of what you mean with the complexity of a place as Papua Neuguinea.. obviously we still have a problem with our own Indigenous population, and it is not just black & white.. Don't we have any chance to get that improved? BTW: I read a Taiwanese magazine a while ago, describing efforts to improve the education of their indigenous population. Places change but the problems are amazingly similar. Regards Peter
