For the vast majority of the population voting for the LNP gives them less money. People have to vote against their own best interests, as described in the articles I cited.
Yes, but the "marketing angle" and the mass media angles too, represent that voting anything other than LNP will mean higher taxes -- if the taxes are lower, then the perception is that you will have more money in YOUR pocket. It won't matter if everything goes up in price to become unaffordable, you will "think" you are better off. It won't matter that health and education will cost you more, because you can self educate and self insure medically. I'm sure you can work out the names, you are quite smart aren't you?
