I have an ongoing problem of headphone cables breaking. Last time I bought cables JB HiFi charged $9 each for retractable cables, they didn't seem to be overly high quality as they didn't last longer than other cables. I'm now looking in to buying a heap from China. One possibility is headphone cables with built in microphone for about $2 each so I can buy enough that I won't run out for ages.
