Just as a point of clarification, disincorporation would mean that "LUV, Inc." would not exist, i.e., a separate legal entity. LUV, as a subcommittee of Linux Australia, Inc., however would still exist - as would our website, our mailing lists, etc. Just as the case is with SLUG, who has gone through the same process. Technically, it does mean that Linux Australia *could* shut LUV down, but realistically I don't think there's much chance of that happening.
