In a few weeks, Linux Users of Victoria, Inc., will be holding another Annual General Meeting.
In the past votes for positions at AGMs have been conducted via MemberDB, is the plan for this item to be voted on that way too? It would certainly permit those who are not able to physically attend to have a say in a matter that is perhaps the most fundamental that LUV could vote on. If not, could I be as bold as to suggest that this matter be deferred until such an online vote be possible? I really don't think it'd be fair on LUV as a whole to decide this based purely on the ability to physically attend the meeting. cheers, Chris -- Chris Samuel : http://www.csamuel.org/ : Melbourne, VIC This email may come with a PGP signature as a file.
