Hi everyone,
Hope this note finds you well and a happy Mothers' day to everyone.
It's been a little while since the last wrap-up, busy, but there's a
couple of things you might want to know about

progress. Meetings have been held with Business Events Geelong, and the

Geelong's own Ryan Parker-Hill and Andrew van Slageren are heavily
involved and would love to hear from you if you're interested in knowing
more - just reply to this thread and we'll pass the message on.
GOVHACK 1-2 JUNE
This is a hack day organised to encourage government agencies to open up
their datasets - ie open government and open data.
There will be a GovHack in Melbourne, just near Southern Cross station -
so easy to get to for Geelong folks.
http://www.govhack.org/ or follow @govhackau on Twitter.
SOFTWARE FREEDOM DAY
Will be on Saturday September 15th. We're not sure if there will be a
Melbourne event, or whether there's enough interest to hold a Geelong event.

NEXT GEELONG OPEN SOURCE MEET
Sorry, haven't had time to organise one. If there's a lot of interest,
bug me and will get on to it :-)
Kind regards,
