This is a really good deal, when that sells out it will be difficult to get a comparable phone for that sort of price. -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/

The 16GB version is $299 ... also worth considering, perhaps 8GB isn't enough? https://play.google.com/store/search?q=nexus&c=devices Wanting the 2013 Nexus 7 myself..... Cheers A.

damn, i'd be tempted by either of those if i hadn't just spent about $75 on a new battery and a desktop usb cradle from mugen.hk for my aging HTC Desire HD.

I just took delivery of a new phone, a Galaxy Note II this afternoon for myself as well as 2 Galaxy TAB 2 7 inch tablets one each for my son and wife. The Note was a side-grade from a GS3, I have the note 10.1 tablet and really like the stylus and the larger screen on the note 2 is great, but where it is really shining is the battery life, I have had it off charge now for 2.5 hours the battery is at 87% and the screen has been on 81% of that time with WiFi and Bluetooth turned on (for my headset and pebble watch) -- Mark "Pockets" Clohesy Mob Phone: (+61) 406 417 877 Email: hiddensoul@twistedsouls.com G-Talk: mark.clohesy@gmail.com GNU/Linux..Linux Counter #457297 - "I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code" "Linux is user friendly...its just selective about who its friends are"

Okay, but the Note III is just around the corner now...... I would have waited, one way or another the Note II would likely get a fair bit cheaper; perhaps the Note III would have been too much of a temptation though ;) Cheers A.

Yes, the Note 2 battery is significantly better than that of the Galaxy S3 which is also significantly better than that of the Nexus 4. But as Andrew previously noted you can now buy battery cases for the Nexus 4 to address this. A Nexus 4 with a battery case is still quite a cheap phone and has great features. Also if you aren't playing Ingress then the Nexus 4 battery isn't too bad. -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/
