Nothing wrong with science, but like many things it can be, [and very often is], manipulated to produce the desired results

And the whole scientific community is busy and producing in results our government does not like. With the result that we have a government without a minister for science, and a lot of scientists wait for months now to figure out whether their projects will be financed under the new government. What was the "desired result" here? Do Australian scientists fake results to help the government to stop spending on science so they lose their jobs? Regards Peter
