Hi, PLEASE DO -=NOT=- REPLY TO THIS LIST, AND DO NOT EMAIL ME. I am, for all practical purposes, OFF THE INTERNET. If you are able to help, PLEASE TEXT OR PHONE ME ON 0427 024 735. That is the only reliable way to get in touch with me now. Are you an Austel-licensed landline techie who visits the Bayswater area? I'm unemployed, and I've just moved into a new home. Have signed up with iPrimus for a landline and ADSL package. Have received sms notifications from them telling me that my landline voice is now up and running. But we can only find two wall sockets, and tested them both with a known-good handset. No dialtone. MY MOBILE IS 0427 024 735 The supposedly active landline is 9720 3975 Can probably pay you a bit, or repay in some other way, as it looks like it will require an on-site visit, and iPrimus or Telstra would probably charge a lot to fault find. No doubt landlord will claim that a phone is "not an essential service" and not pay for any fixes done. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, if you can help, and for not replying to the list, which I basically can't access. Carl Turney 24 / 30 Elizabeth Street Bayswater

Being curious about the above , I rang Carl Turney at 9720 3975 about it; situation seems to be that 1/ The above email was sent from a friend's computer this morning. 2/ He was under mistaken impression that land-line didn't work. 3/ He asked me to send an email asking that the above email be disregarded; which is hopefully the effect of this sentence. thanks Rohan Mcleod
