Firefox OS phone at JB Hifi

From ZTE au website, JB HiFi selling Firefox OS phones. (http://www.zte.com.au/devices/Firefox_OpenC.htm)
Any one seen them and any experience? Daniel. -- dan062@yahoo.com.au <dan062@yahoo.com.au>

No personal experience, but I searched for a few reviews and it didn't seem worthwhile to me compared to similarly priced android devices. Maybe the licencing or project itself would make it interesting for you. On 18 Dec 2014 11:20, "dan062@yahoo.com.au" <dan062@yahoo.com.au> wrote:

A phone needs to have the right radios, otherwise, it is just another network device (good for maybe WiFi) ... 3G UMTS 850, 2100 MHz with 42Mbps data (HSPA+) GSM 900, 1800, 1900 MHz No 4G and too limited 3G -- okay if you have Hel$tra .. A.

- maybe, /just/ okay... I wouldn't buy one, it looks next to useless to me at this time with the options currently available. A.

Daniel. hi
on BoxingDay my old phone broke (dropped voice calls after 3 s), so after the cricket off to JB and bought one of these, I do not have data on my SIM. Does well at making calls and sending TXTs. Still getting use to the new phone, touch screen is awkward and display occasionally overflows. Steve
