G'Day all, It's that time again when I can barely move in my office and need to offload some incredibly expensive computer history that is now completely worthless to anyone but the most avid collector of antique computer parts. Send me an email if your interested in any of the following or they will be organised into a magical weekly emptying storage receptacle. Compaq Deskpro series PS2018 Pentium II 350MHz 2 x 64MB 72pin SIMM Seagate Barracuda 320GB drive (HUGE!) ATI 3D Rage Pro TURBO (AGP) built in SMC 1211TX 10/100 NIC US Robotics Courier V. Everything internal hardware modem (ISA bus) 1x CD-ROM Drive 3.5" Floppy Drive Beautifully engineered and quality manufactured case that still brings joy to the heart to pull apart now after all these years. Makes you realise what junk modern business PC's are. Still powers up but don't have PS/2 keyboard to get past the keyboard not detected, press F1 to continue error. Comes with Samsung Syncmaster 172x 17" monitor, still in box. email me if you want these pieces of history. More items to come, but will finish this email off here. Regards, Michael Campbell

Hi Michael Thanks for attempting to re-home old hardware. I don't want to break the system for anyone else by cherry picking, but if you don't get any other takers then I can definitely use the HDD assuming it is 3.5" PATA (not SATA). I would also take the CDROM and floppy drives just to remove the motors from them. So, if you don't get anyone who wants the system intact, then please let me know. Cheers David

I am sorry to bother everyone on the list, but it seems that this the only way that I am able to communicate with Michael at the moment. On Sat, 16 Jan 2021 at 09:36, David <bouncingcats@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi Michael I start to wonder if email messages that I send are reaching you. In addition to the above list posting after which you replied to me privately, I have sent two email messages to mick@toolah.com. #1 was sent 11 Jan 2021, 13:16 +1100. #2 was sent 16 Jan 2021, 11:25 +1100. But I have received no response to either of them. Did you receive those messages? I did receive the private email that you sent me 16 Jan 2021, 09:49 and message #2 above was my reply.
