Thanks Peter Besides media reports I'm not aware of any formal proposal before government of an actual proposal to turn what is a significant cultural location and civic space that is aged Square into a retail precinct One that would from those media reports transform the architectural location aligned to the river into a seemingly big glass box ( although i stress again this is only from Media reports leaked apparently by a consultant for apple ) would have little architectural or civic value As to the labor office in Docklands - it's architectural significance is nonexistent and as the office is rented other tenants and the owners might be a little upset I will investigate the reports and advise you as to the outcomes Thanks for sharing your views I appreciate the trouble you have gone to Yours sincerely Martin Foley Sent from my iPhone

Dear Martin,
what happened to your colleagues?
Apple, a multinational company with a proud history of tax avoidance, talking to the Labor State government about knocking down the building of the Koori National Trust to build a megastore at Fed Square.
Really?
Maybe the St.Paul's Cathedral instead? Or something else of significance for Victorians?
I suggest to knock down the Labor head quarters in the Docklands instead. We do not need a party which sells the people's valuables to the greedy.
Can you please put a stop to it? It is simply obsciene vandalism.
Thank you Peter
