Pure masochism;-) There was a bit of curiosity what the Herald Sun will report. It's more propaganda than news. It makes me feel home, back in Communism again. There is a difference: Most of East Germans were aware that it is propaganda. Regards Peter

There is a difference: Most of East Germans were aware that it is propaganda.
My ex girlfriend read it habitually and exclusively. When queried upon it, she claimed "wanting to know the enemy". She wasn't completely ignorant, but I feel it did colour her opnion since she didn't appear to be seeking out any other sources of world-happenings. But every now and then, like today, I look at it just to find out what the other 70% are reading about. And it was obvious to me why they are so ignorant. They probably don't even know there's a statewide corruption enquiry in NSW that's threatening to take down more than one government. -- Tim Connors
