Assembled cognoscenti: I am getting a bit deaf , with much loss of high-end sounds. (Subjectively words as sounds, have a greater tendency to blur together ). But thus far don't feel quite ready to embrace a hearing aid ; particularly as it mostly seems to affect mobile phone conversations . So I thought surely it must be possible to simply boost high end sound to compensate for reduced sensitivity; (that being what hearing aids do presumably.) .......wouldn't that be a good idea for an android app ! But wait, maybe someone has already done it ! After some googling I came across: http://www.theengineer.co.uk/medical-and-healthcare/news/free-app-turns-phon... but unfortunately it is an iPhone app to which religion (iPhone), I have some ideological and considerable economic objections ! Further googling found : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.overpass.earassist&hl=en .....review, opinions, theories, flames ? thanks Rohan McLeod
