Hi All, To paraphrase the original question... "Why is there STILL a protest over the East West Link?" Maybe it's the same psychological and sociological factors that have some modern-day folk from America's Deep South waving rebel flags and saying "the South shall rise again" -- 150 years later. Some people just don't know when to give up and move onto battles they CAN win. I just love seeing protesters with a few babies screaming that the cities shouldn't get bigger, or land shouldn't get cleared for farming. "But who will take care of us when we're older?" The population is doubling every 70 years. Duh!
