Actually many petitions achieve a result. A petition that gets a significant number of signatures gets media coverage which may result in political action. Obviously the petition to create a Death Star was never going to get the stated result, but petitions to do things that are possible often achieve their stated result. If you use the online petition sites they usually send a mail-out for the results of the petition, do it enough and you will get regular messages about petitions succeeding.

If you have as much money as Clive Palmer then you can try to create a personal political party to achieve your goals. If not then your best option is to convince other people.

We have discussed this with you before. It's obvious that you aren't brave enough to accept any answer other than treating refugees in an inhumane manner. Be brave, study what's been done before (in Australia and other countries), and then we can have a discussion.
The root cause of these problems is cowardice. Stop being a coward and then we can talk.

There was nothing below, just text quoted from another message. Did you forget to write something?
