every time i see them saying something, i lose respect for them. i'm at the point of regretting that i put them on my senate vote at all a few months back (fairly low down in my prefs, so more as a message/statement that australia should be secular than anything else). they came out with some islamophobic crap a few months ago (it's one thing for a secular party to say that islam shouldn't get any special privileges in society, any more than catholics or protestants or buddhists or any other religion, but it's quite another for them to be coming out with the same all muslims are terrorists burka-banning bullshit that the racists do). now it's this current idiocy equating identity politics with "political correctness gone mad". just another loon party, and not even well-meaning loons. and a waste of a good party name. craig -- craig sanders <cas@taz.net.au>
