I agree that it isn't necessarily a bad picture. Just that the "billions he invests" aren't all there is to see. 

I'm not sure about any later articles regarding the foundation's investments. That's why I qualified the link as "aged". It still doesn't change the fact that the amount he invests isn't all there is to it.

All it shows is that Bill didn't practice ethical investment.  It's what
happens by default when people go for the best returns.

Is there a newer article about such things indicating whether he has made any
changes to his investment strategies since then?  There are a variety of
ethical investment funds to choose from.
