I just now double-checked the remit of this mailing list, in case I
misunderstood it.  The listinfo page describes it as 'General chat list
for LUV members'.  Beyond that, the Rules and Guidelines section of the
Mailing Lists page elaborates a bit:

  7. luv-talk has no topic

  There are no set posting guidelines for luv-talk. Members are expected
  to remain polite and to avoid using the list for private discussions,
  or replies which are not of interest to the list in general.
