This book has a GLBT positive analysis of the Bible. It sounds like it's similar to the analysis of a religious Jewish friend of mine who concluded that the Old Testament (AKA Hebrew Bible AKA Torah) doesn't prohibit gay sex. His analysis depended on a subtlety of Hebrew grammar, so it's not something you'll see in an English translation.

Not that this will convince all the people who like to believe that Jesus had light skin, long hair, and approved of war.
