
What a shame that the British do not have a proper bill of rights so governments can do as they please. While the same attempts were and are done in Germany (and the European Union) again and again, they were sometimes spoiled by the Constitutional Court. The British legislation would certainly not pass. Article 12 ans 14 of the constitution declare privacy of your home and communications as a fundamental right. My 2 cents in the "We (do not) need a Bill of Rights debate." Any chance to get that going in Australia?
