The above article appeared in the LA Times in 2007, so it's aged, but it paints a different picture of the Gates' philanthropy.
All it shows is that Bill didn't practice ethical investment. It's what happens by default when people go for the best returns. Is there a newer article about such things indicating whether he has made any changes to his investment strategies since then?
