[luv-talk] lynda.com Joins the LinkedIn Family

http://www.slideshare.net/linkedin/lynda-linkedin Sadly, we have lost lynda.com as a great resource with some real potential on their own; swallowed up by LinkedIn. I have a "placeholder" on LinkedIn, that's all I want there. I do NOT want LinkedIn being "the world" ... listen to the video (at least the first minute), it's a very sad direction; everybody, everywhere will have to be a paid up member of LinkedIn ... unless my placeholder page becomes the norm instead of the exception. To say I was /disappointed/ to hear of LinkedIn acquiring Lynda.com would be a huge understatement. What a sad, sad, sad day. A.
