Are there legal reasons why Australian banks don't support address verification, and is there any option to enable it at the request of the customer?
The first thing that occurs to me is that if address verification was enabled, perhaps it could be used to find out where people live or such, and so our super duper privacy laws block its use -- similar to how our whois database is pretty bare. (This is pure speculation.)
