Quality "Android One" devices /may/ be okay, but the Nokia 7.1 seems to have that covered well at reasonable cost.
What's up with that now that MS has officially dumped the Windows Phone? Will Nokia go back to Android?
Well, for a period of time, no Nokia phone could be anything but Windows -- that period has expired.
HMD make "Nokia" phones today and they are Android phones.
Good value phones and the latest ones are getting Android Pie ... see attached email with some details.

JB had all Nokia mobiles at 20% recently, so the 7.1 could have been had for a tad under $400 if you were lucky; perhaps it'll happen again. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/phones/Outright-Mobile-Handsets/nokia/nokia-7-1-mi... Cheers A.
