Stereotyping "those people"[0] based on the behaviour of a lunatic fringe is not conducive to rational discussion.
[0] from Subject and context I assume you mean "opponents of marriage equality", not "people who send death threats".
When you deal with large groups of people you can make some assumptions about the behavior. If you publish pictures of someone with a gun-sight over them then it's not surprising if a member of the "lunatic fringe" shoots them (as Sarah Palin encouraged an assassination attempt). If you go around saying that some people are evil then you have to expect that to incite some people to violence. Also it's interesting to note how many "Christians" expect Muslims who live in countries such as the US and Australia to disclaim any connection with terrorists from the middle-east. But you never see Christians disclaiming the actions of the FRC. It's rare to even see Christians even denouncing the WBC. -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/
