My goodness, I don't believe I asked you to shut up.  I believe what I
said was that I was confused about you taking personal offense at my
comments that -- as you agreed -- were about a variety of Christian
entirely unlike you, in a conversation I was having in no way addressed
to you.

I really thought luv-talk was an open forum. Sorry if I broke in on a private conversation between you and Trent. Without going back to find your exact quotes......I will if you want me to... I've got the distinct impression that my opinion was not welcome, simply because your post was directed at Trent.....

If you wish to clarify your claim that (paraphrasing) there is an active
requirement for all Christians to evangelise, I would be interested.  If
you don't, there is certainly no obligation.

YOU cited a VERY clear obligation for disciples of Christ to go out to all the world and make disciples.... I think you're a very intelligent guy and that is pretty clear for you.

Acts 1:8 is a further reference from that link.

So one reference, in one of four gospels, isn't good enough for you? Others would say that the synoptic gospels were copied from Mark's gospel, so if there were 3 references, they were copies. Which is it? Matthew was the Apostle. Luke was a historian. Mark was a companion of Peter. They ALL didn't make it starkly clear for you, so it isn't true?
