Signing this gives the opposing sides, whether it is ALP, Greens, Palmer, Independents, a heads-up how we care about it. So it may help to defend it, I hope. Personally, my then-partner asked me to choose America or Australia. Having a social welfare system was important to us. I do not want to end up old and signing cheques in the emergency department before somebody asks me where it hurts. Do you want this? As a joke, we could ask Sydney/NSW to leave the Commonwealth and join the United States.
