A Meetup I thought would interest a reasonable proportion of LUV-talk, at least those on the list that frequently post to it. (The rest of you are mostly a mystery, but you presumably have an interest in at least some FOSS and in quality+quantity of life.) Am I the only one here who feels like Climate Change is getting way disproportionate attention compared to other ecological threats such as accumulation of plastic refuse? Obviously ecosystems have complex interplay between various factors, eg. if ozone layer destruction hadn't been slowed, any greenhouse effects could have been much worse by now! But I think that's a reason to NOT overly focus on "Greenhouse Gases" and particularly almost all on CO2.
