Anybody want an upgrade to a 50GB PERSONAL (non-business) Box Storage
account?
I have a new Xperia Sola phone (main phone is S3), check out the
promotion here:
https://support.box.com/entries/22264368-sony-ericsson-50gb-promotion-faq
And more generally here:
https://support.box.com/entries/22057282-box-50-gb-promotion-faqs
If you create an account, or you already have one, change the password
to something unique that you can tell me and I'll use my new device to
upgrade your account. You can and should change your password after
I've upgraded your storage using the promotion.
NB: If you have access to an Xperia phone or other eligible device, you
can do this yourself, but the promotion ends on 31st December, 2012.
I've setup webdav access for my Debian box too as follows:
[they don't have a Linux client tool]
Debian WebDAV setup:
Install davfs2 package
# apt-get install davfs2
Add user(s) to davfs2 group
# usermod -a -G davfs2 MYUSERNAME
For each user's Box account add a line to the /etc/fstab file:
https://www.box.com/dav /home/MYUSERNAME/box.com davfs
rw,user,uid=MYUSERNAME,gid=MYGROUPNAME,auto 0 0
Add mount directory for each user
# mkdir ~MYUSERNAME/box.com && chown MYUSERNAME:MYGROUPNAME
~MYUSERNAME/box.com
For each user's Box account add a line to /etc/davfs2/secrets file:
https://www.box.com/dav MYUSERNAME MYPASSWORD
Cheers
