[luv-main] Procedure for leaving the luv lists

What is the correct procedure to leave the lists these days. Have No idea what the login for the web site is or does? Linux now for 18 years, (kernel 0.96d) and for ever, Lindsay

There's actually a separate login for the list server and there should be an unsubscribe option for each list there. Try http://lists.luv.asn.au/ I hope you're not planning to leave all of the lists - we don't want to lose valuable members of the community - but if you're subscribed to more lists than you want to be, then by all means unsubscribe from the ones you don't wish to read. If you're actually trying to change your address rather than to unsubscribe outright then I can't remember exactly how this is done, since you can't just unsubscribe and resubscribe under a different address automatically. The luv lists don't allow automated subscriptions, or at least they didn't under the previous arrangements.

One of the headers in your post is: List-Unsubscribe: <http://lists.luv.asn.au/listinfo/luv-main>, <mailto:luv-main-request@lists.luv.asn.au?subject=unsubscribe> I'd start there. (Or the corresponding link for other luv lists.) But you're not leaving the party, I hope? :-) Erik -- Wizards had always known that the act of observation changed the thing that was observed, and sometimes forgot that it also changed the observer too.
