There seems to be an ongoing demand for SATA disks from the hardware library. Does anyone have any to donate? Even 80G disks get taken. -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/

Does stuff ever come back? Is it a library in the lending sense? On 15 August 2016 at 17:37, Russell Coker via luv-main <luv-main@luv.asn.au> wrote:

Occasionally it does, but more commonly it's a renewable resource. More stuff arrives to replace the things that people have found a use for.
The most important thing about a library is that it is a collection. What exactly is done with the collection varies. It is nice if people who take things from the library try to find things to donate, but it's not required. library n 1: a room where books are kept; "they had brandy in the library" 2: a collection of literary documents or records kept for reference or borrowing 3: a depository built to contain books and other materials for reading and study [syn: {library}, {depository library}] 4: (computing) a collection of standard programs and subroutines that are stored and available for immediate use [syn: {library}, {program library}, {subroutine library}] 5: a building that houses a collection of books and other materials -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/

I've got two disks I am happy to donate. 1 x Seagate Barracuda 320GB ST3320620AS 3.5in 1 x Seagate Momentus XT 500GB ST95005620AS 2.5in Unfortunately, I don't see myself getting to a LUV meeting anytime soon. Anyone passing through the Richmond area want to meet up to collect? Thanks, Vaughan. On Mon, Aug 15, 2016 at 5:37 PM, Russell Coker via luv-main < luv-main@luv.asn.au> wrote:

I work in Richmond. Are you able to drop them in at my office at 33 Elizabeth St. Richmond some day, or do you need me to come collect them? Thanks, Andrew

That's close enough for me, I'll drop them off on the lunch-time walkabout. How's 1330 Monday sound? Vaughan. On Fri, Aug 19, 2016 at 12:37 PM, Andrew Pam <andrew@sericyb.com.au> wrote:
