I've asked this question on the SAGE-AU mailing list, apologies for the redundant redundancy for those subscribed to both lists. Is anyone using or administering a gitlab instance? How are you finding it? Is the wiki functionality good, or more pain than it is worth? I'm considering binning a gitorious installation and migrating a few repositories over, has anyone done that?
Hi, I got one positive report about gitlab, which is nice. I think I will try and sort out a trial here. Managing users and groups with optional LDAP integration is essential to us. Gitlab also offers wikis for projects, that is good too. Does anyone else have any suggestions for managing code repositories in general? Apparently there is a closed source Atlassian product which has positive reports, but I'm interested in software that comes with all the freedoms.
