Kernel oops issues in latest Debian Squeeze LTS kernel 2.6.32-48squeeze12

Hi all, The latest security update for the Debian Squeeze LTS 2.6.32-48squeeze12 has some nasty regressions that cause lots of oops's according to posts on the debian-lts mailing list. IA32, AMD64 and PPC are affected (so far).
