After reading the emails about the end of LUV, I've decided I don't want to be a part of this any more. I logged onto the LUV site, but I can't find a button that says I don't want to be a member any more. How do I get out of being a LUV member? Shane.

Why would you want to do that? The mailing lists will still have the same traffic afterwards regardless of the outcome of the election.

The footer on every message has a URL to do that. The headers of the message have control addresses you can access via http or email. -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/

Wouldn't it be better to await the outcome of the vote before deciding, even if you don't want to stay and see what the implications are (of either outcome)?

IIRC "membership" is determined purely by whether you're subscribed to luv-announce. So go to http://lists.luv.asn.au/listinfo/luv-announce and unsubscribe.

I've jumped through a number of hoops and unsubsribed from that, but I'm still getting emails from luv-main. I want total out from LUV....something I was once proud to be a member of.

They are separate lists, you need to unsubscribe separately. Puzzled as to why you'd want to leave, though, given nothing has changed. -- Chris Samuel : http://www.csamuel.org/ : Melbourne, VIC This email may come with a PGP signature as a file. Do not panic. Shane This has not yet finalised. Your voice is just as important as every one elses, please do not just shrug your shoulders and walk away. Solidarity is the way LUV has moved to the strength it now enjoys. We need to tell them "we will not disappear, we will not just go silently into the night, we will survive" Roger
