Xorg doesn't like new ATI card

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Bonaire XTX [Radeon R7 260X] I've just got a new ATI video card, above is the LSPCI output. The Xorg driver from Debian/Unstable doesn't seem to like the card (I've attached the Xorg logs). Any suggestions as to what I should do? Previously the card worked with the VESA driver but I purged the VESA driver to force it to use the ATI driver. The system is running kernel 3.16.7-ckt9-3~deb8u1 (Jessie kernel). -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/

Installing firmware-linux-nonfree and rebooting fixed that. -- My Main Blog http://etbe.coker.com.au/ My Documents Blog http://doc.coker.com.au/
