lol, There is *no* discussion i can find going on at linux-aus except that a small thread on the post that I was reposting everywhere. :)
Linux Australia have put a more positive spin on it..

on another note, it seems that ZDnet contacted Linux Australia president John Ferlito. Hopefully they can continue to report on this and raise awareness.
