Presumably the GNOME developers all use the software they develop and the same can probably be said for all the free software that is being discussed in this thread. I guess that conclusion would be that people who don't develop reliable software have their own systems running rather unreliably.
That's one possible conclusion, but another completely possible one is: The software works very well for the GNOME developers, and they don't know what all the fuss is about. Just because software doesn't do what YOU want/expect, doesn't mean that it isn't working exactly as designed.
