I've now got Jovie (speech synthesis) configured and working so now it's speaking the notifications to me. :-)

Hi Chris, Very cool indeed. I know I am using kdeconnect to link phone and desktop but I was expecting some icon to flash when an event in the phone took place. Did not see KdeConnect in the list of widgets. Thanks Andrew Greig
