The suggestion of nominating the chairperson was, barring disaster, one can be reasonably confident that the chairperson will turn up to the meeting!
It's even more disasterproof that that. If by some weird chance, Lev wasn't there, we'd have the option of adjourning the AGM. If Lev weren't there, holding a block of proxies, and the LUV members present wouldn't agree on reasonable option of adjourning, then I'd lose all faith in humanity. -- Smiles, Les.
