I presume swap over iSCSI and NFS are still prone to deadlock? I've seen no followup to this thread back in 2007: http://kerneltrap.org/Linux/Swap_Over_NFS other than this thread not finding a definitive answer: http://groups.google.com/group/open-iscsi/browse_thread/thread/bdff452079696... Can anyone trace whether these patches and iscsi patches ever made it upstream? It'd be a pity to waste all the memory in my new NAS. Swap to something essentially seekless would be quite nice. -- Tim Connors
