It is not just about the "love to communicate", it is also about the need to communicate just to get your work done. If you block mobile communications, it is going to make it less efficient to do that work. Instead of a quick SMS or phone call "where are you?" it will be a 5 minute walk to the nearest pay phone only to find you don't have the spare change.
